What is ale?

Ale is a type of beer that's brewed using a warm fermentation method, resulting in a sweet, full-bodied and fruity taste. It's one of the oldest types of beer and is incredibly diverse, ranging in colors from gold to dark brown. The key difference between ales and other beers is that they're fermented at higher temperatures and for shorter periods of time. The yeast used in brewing ales also contributes to their unique and varied flavors. So, the next time you're sipping a pint of ale, remember you're partaking in a time-honored tradition!
